National Academy of Legal Studies and Research

The National Academy of Legal Studies and Research or NALSAR was established in 1998 in Hyderabad, then part of Andhra Pradesh, now in Telangana, by a Statute of the State of Andhra Pradesh. The University has not only produced lawyers of repute who have made a distinctive mark in their careers but have also been open to vital conversations on law and justice. BA LLB is one of the most popular programmes equipping the students with research and writing skills. The one year LLM was introduced in 2013 and specializations were offered in a range of streams. NALSAR started its MBA programme in 2013 to train students who can work on financial, legal, political and cultural issues while working within the legal parameters.
